the male figure with a scythe, rake and pail is incised with the model no. U. 134; the female figure with a bundle of crops is incised with the model no. U. 133; each is signed with the Meissen blue underglaze crossed swords mark; the marks are not cancelled; the male figure now has a significant loss to the top of his scythe and his rake and there are chip losses to the front side of the rope binding that surrounds the blade of the scythe; there is also a loss to the end of the item that is strapped to the lower end of his shirt on the reverse side of this figure; there has been a poor restoration or repair to the side handle of the green pail that that he is holding in his left hand; there is a loss to the tip end of the stick that the female figure is using to carry her pitcher over her back; there are a few shallow flake losses and chips to the lower rim edge of this female figure; neither figure was blacklighted
