Louis XVI Ormolu-Mounted Mahogany Console Desserte
The white marble top with three-quarter pierced brass gallery above a conforming case fitted with a frieze drawer flanked by rounded ends and raised on tapering fluted legs headed by ribbed panels and joined by a galleried shelf; the back bearing a spurious stamp: JME/J. PETIT. Height 34 inches (86.4 cm), width 45 1/2 inches (115.6 cm), depth 16 1/2 inches (42 cm).
