The leather-upholstered backrest with palmette- and scroll-carved toprail, the loose-cushioned caned seat flanked by shaped armrests on foliate-carved supports, raised on molded sabre legs. Height 32 inches (81.2 cm), width 20 3/4 inches (52.8 cm), depth 15 inches (38.1 cm).

Good restored condition, nice color, backrest probably originally caned, rubbing to handholds commensurate with age and use, small age crack to inside top of left front leg, old marks and scratches.
