Comprising 43 letters addressed to his daughter, Princess Nina Georgievna, including: a letter dated December 26, 1911 which describes a Christmas Eve party with Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna and family; a letter dated December 30, 1911 which describes a visit to the Winter Palace where Emperor Nicholas II received state officials and foreign ambassadors and delivered New Year's greetings; a letter dated March 10 which describes the 25th anniversary of the Ulan Regiment; and a letter dated March 13, 1912 which describes a visit to Tsarskoye Selo to see the Emperor and his family and his conversations with Grand Duchess Anastasia.
