Circa 1965, originally designed for E-1027 in 1926
Height 32 1/4 inches, 15 1/4 inches, depth 20 inches.

This examples predates 1973 when Gray gave reproduction rights to Aram Designs who granted license to Classicon of Germany.

One of the 20th century's most iconic designers, Eileen Gray designed this model of chair for her own villa E-1027 in the South of France which became a showcase of modernist design.

Additional Notes & Condition Report

Chair is structurally sound and in generally good condition. There is an even patina to the metal, with minor wear/scratches, but no significant dents or bends. All four wood feet are intact. Leather on seat is soft to the touch and has age appropriate wear with some minor staining. Foam has some give but no hardening.
