Additional Notes & Condition Report

Shade: Appears to be in generally good condition; no hairline cracks, rim chips, etc.; rim smooth to the touch; the fitter rim appears to be in exceptionally good condition with one flea-bite size nick to its top flat edge; there are scattered internally trapped pin-head size air bubbles, in the glass, as made, not of any consequence; there is a large internally trapped air bubble that is visible only on the interior side only when lit; there is a white colored small particle inclusion (or possibly a trapped air bubble) located on the interior side near the top, as made, not of any consequence; perhaps the most noteworthy condition issue, and perhaps only an aesthetic issue (visible only on the interior side), appears to be the result of a long thin glass thread that sits on the surface of the glass and can be felt and which has the visual appearance of being a large C-shaped hairline crack but it is raised and can be felt by touch; also, when gently struck the shade gives off a nice resonance and when illuminated the area with the internal glass thread is not visible from the exterior; the shade is lined in white colored glass, i.e., this shade is made of cased glass (green on the outside and white on the interior side); signed on the fitter rim.

Base: Appears to be in generally good condition; has been rewired; the lamp has not been tested to see if the light socket is in good working condition, however it is assumed so; the lamp retains the four original lug nuts; the lamp retains three ball screws, two of which have a similar patina, however it seems all three are later replacements; the patina has some areas of wear and rubbing consistent with age, usage, and handling, it now has a dull uniformed appearance; two of the small screws located on the mount on the part that secures the glass shade are missing; felt protective pad affixed to the underside.
