Additional Notes & Condition Report

Shade: No apparent hairline cracks, flake losses or chips to the lower rim, etc.; there are, however, chips and significant roughage to the fitter rim edge; this roughage does not negatively impact the integrity or structure of the everted rim; the shade exhibits an unusual mirror finish; the shade gives a nice bell tone resonance when gently struck; there are some internally trapped air bubbles within the glass, some of which are at the surface, in the making, and not of great consequence.

Base: There is a break to the lower section of the harp that may prove difficult to repair; the on/off switch has been replaced; the patina is primarily mottled chocolate brown colored with some green patina as well; the base stands nice and straight; the patina is now uniformly dulled with some areas of wear, consistent with age, usage, and handling; some of the small screws that secure the socket mount into place are later replacements; has been rewired; not tested to see if socket is in good working condition, however, it is presumed so.
