Additional Notes & Condition Report

Shades: one pair of glass shades is predominantly white in coloration with green leaves banded in gold and the other pair of glass shades is primarily a beige coloration with green leaves banded in gold; consequently, the two pairs of shades are not matched; one of the shades with white coloration has a line discoloration that extends in a large U-shape from the top rim edge on one side then down and then back up to another side top rim edge; this line has the appearance of being a hairline crack and may or may not be; it is difficult to tell in this particular instance; this line shows when the glass is illuminated from within but cannot be felt with a fingernail test and it is visible to the eye when looked at on the interior side but it is not readily visible or noticeable when examined under normal lighting conditions from the exterior side; the fitter rim on this shade appears to be in generally good condition; the other white colored shade appears to be in generally good condition; there are a few internally trapped air bubbles near the surface on this shade; this shade has a small shallow flake loss to its fitter rim; the other pair of glass shades exhibit differences, including one shade has more prominent notches to its rim edge; also, one shade has darker green colored leaf motifs than the other and the green colored glass threads are wider on this shade than on the other shade, which also has more transparent green leaves; one fitter rim has a shallow flake loss to its fitter rim edge; the other shade has a few tiny fleabite size nicks to its fitter rim; one shade is slightly more bulbous in shape than the other

Bronze: each mount has a mottled green and chocolate brown patina; each retains three ball screws, some of which may be later replacements; three of the four on/off switches are later replacements and do not match; one switch is marked G.E.Co.; one of the socket mounts is now somewhat loose but this should be an easy enough fix; there is a small patch of loss to the green/brown patina, located on the front side of the compressed urn part of the sconce mount
