Additional Notes & Condition Report
Please Note: Doyle cannot provide an opinion or make any statement regarding the working condition of this or any other clock in this auction; accordingly, please assume this clock is not in working condition and may require professional servicing. Thank you.
Clock Case: appears to be in generally good condition; typical wear, rubbing and dulling to the gilding and patina; there is a winding key; the rear door glass panel appears to be a later replacement and the glass panel is currently detached from the ring mount; there is a pendulum and clock movement; the movement appears to be a later replacement (it is not stamped or marked Tiffany & Co. for example); the enameled dial appears to be in generally good, clean condition; some minor nicks to the rim edges of the marble base, however, they are not of any consequence and the marble base (slab) appears to be undamaged (not cracked or repaired); the marble gives this clock great weight
Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Doyle New York shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.
