"Dowsett hunting in various parts of the world during his lifetime. The second half of this volume deals with his hunts in British East Africa. He systematically describes a variety of plains game, dealing more extensively with hunting buffalo near Mt. Elgon and with chapters on elephant, rhinoceros, lion and leopard.
