"Glave, a member of Henry Stanley's pioneers, describes his long sojourn in the Congo with attendant observations and adventures. Of sporting interest are his hunts after hippo and buffalo near Stanley Pool, and elephant near the Congo River" (Czech). Czech, Africa, pp. 107-108.
