[N.p.: privately printed, circa 1938]. First edition, signed by the author. Original blue printed wrappers. 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches; 84 pp.; plates after drawings. Backstrip toned, pale scattered foxing, but an attractive copy.
"Trekking through the Belgian Congo, Tanganyika and the region near Lake Victoria, Hamer hunted elephant, rhinoceros, lions, and buffalo. A most scarce little work" (Czech). Czech, Africa, p. 116.
