Publisher's green cloth. 6 5/8 x 4 1/8 inches; ix, [4], 187 pp.; tinted lithographed frontispiece, folding map, half-title. Generally a bit worn, spine toned with losses at tips, corners bumped, foxing to endpapers and prelims (including frontis).
"This little book appears in the form of letters and articles written by the author for The Field magazine. He describes his hunts for lion, gazelle, wild boar, ostrich and a variety of small game, particularly among the foothills of the Atlas range" (Czech). Czech, Africa, pp. 117-118.
