Contemporary green limp leatherette gilt. 8 x 5 inches; xxiii, 314 pp.; illustrated after photographs throughout, 2 folding maps, advertisements. Slight lean, extremities a bit rubbed, minor scattered foxing, contemporary ownership signature to front pastedown.
From the library of R. J. Cunninghame, who led numerous safaris in British East Africa starting in 1905. In 1909, he led Theodore and Kermit Roosevelt on a 12-month safari in East Africa - where he saved Theodore from a rampaging hippopotamus.
