Toning. The paper is glued along front edges to the mat. The mat has acidic qualities and may have darkened paper at contact. The paper is not a true square measuring 18 1/2 inches at the top and 19 inches at the bottom. A fold mark down right side, 1/2 inch from the edge. There are four white gouache areas, each approximately 1/2 inch in diameter, possibly corrections made by artist. A 1/2 inch brown stain at lower right.
