Losses to cracking to tips of wings; small loss to beak; loss to left side of eagle the has been touched up with gold paint; central portion of downturned leaves below eagle missing; missing portions to both outer tips of the leafage that is above the frame; cracks to frame between 10-11 o'clock and 4-5 o'clock; plate replaced; possibly originally candle arms with subsequent vertical grooves to back which are visible to the sides
