Two Chinese Longquan Celadon Glazed Vases
Late Ming Dynasty
One of tall slender shape rising to a high shoulder and short neck and flared rim, the sides incised with a plantain plant and floral design below stylized scrolling at the shoulder all under a thick olive green glaze with a consistent crackleur; the smaller of slender ovoid form incised with blossoming flowers on the sides, under a thick seafoam green glaze and consistent crackleur. Height of taller 13 1/4 inches.
