Second quarter 19th century
Puce printed factory marks and red script pattern number 3955, decorated in iron-red, blue and gold in the Imari style, comprising a pair of fruit coolers, pair of sauce tureens, covers and stands, a footed bowl, twelve dessert plates, pair of oblong dishes, set of four smaller oblong dishes, oblong serving dish and four scalloped dishes. Height of fruit coolers 13 inches (33 cm).

Comprising 12 plates (9 inches diameter), pair of fruit coolers, pair of sauce tureens, covers and stands, four scalloped dishes, 7 oval dishes in various sizes; overall good condition, one plate with 1/2 chip under rim, otherwise light wear to gilding, stacking wear; chip to underside of one tureen cover; the count is incorrect in the catalogue, there are twelve plates, not two, as listed.
