The case with handle to inverted bell top applied with gilt-metal foliate mounts, double-fusee four-pillar movement striking on a bell, verge escapement, with winged cherub spandrels and false pendulum, the backplate engraved with a basket of flowers and scrolling foliage. Height 17 inches (43.2 cm).
