George II Inlaid Walnut Chest on Stand
In two parts, the upper section with oval-inlaid crossbanded top above two short over three long featherbanded drawers, the stand with a drawer and raised on cabriole legs ending in squared feet. Height 53 1/2 inches (135.9 cm), width 40 inches (101.6 cm), depth 25 1/2 inches (64.8 cm).

Restored condition, now with shiny varnish, old marks and scratches, patches to veneers of top, losses and replacements to veneers and moldings, brasses replaced, drawer fronts with plugged holes, bottom of chest with later veneers and boards to underside, stand possibly associated, brackets and legs later.
