With three scrolling branches centering a raised light, the baluster stems issuing from acanthus leaves, on a shaped square base engraved "Carl vom Rath". Height 19 inches (48.2 cm), weighted.
Carl vom Rath (1850-1904), was a German industrialist living in Poland who made his fortune in the sugar industry.
