Louis XV/XVI Transitional Style Kingwood, Marquetry and Gilt-Metal Mounted Commode
The breakfronted marble top above three frieze drawers and two long sans traverse drawers flanked by canted stiles, on cabriole legs; the front decorated with a pavilion flanked by scenes of courtly figures in gardens, the sides similarly decorated; the back stamped 'MADE IN BELGIUM'. Height 35 inches (88,8 cm), width 50 inches (127 cm), depth 21 inches (53.4 cm).
