Danish Sterling Silver and Ebony Coffee and Tea Service
Attributed to Georg Jensen, 20th century
Each of globular form, with turned wood handles and finials, comprising a teapot 80B, length 10 inches; coffee pot 80B; hot milk 80E; cream jug 80C; covered sugar bowl 80C; tea caddy 80; kettle on stand 80 and 80B; oval tray 80B; and a tea strainer; unmarked. Total approximately 122 ounces, all in.

Each piece hallmarked sterling, Denmark with the pattern number, but all lacking the Georg Jensen hallmark, although the font is that used by the silversmith
each appears to be in generally good condition with the following noteworthy exceptions:
each is monogrammed with the letter G; each is now marked with a previous owner's social security number on the underside; each with light scratch marks, consistent with age, usage and handling; the wood finial on the cover of the tea caddy is broken (detached) and half of the finial is now missing; there is a small bend to the silver rim area near the handle join area of the tea strainer; there is a large dent to the side of the body of the sugar bowl; there is a large dent to the side of the body of the teapot; there is a small dent to the bottom lip of the spout of the teapot; the cover of the coffee pot has a somewhat large size dent and it is now slightly "out of round"; this cover does not sit or fit properly onto the body; the top rim edge of the coffee pot has a few small dings and dents; there is a small ding/dent to the bottom area of the spout on the coffee pot; the bottom lip of the spout of the kettle has a small dent/slightly pushed up bend; wear/rubbing to the finish on the wood handles, consistent with age and usage and cleaning; age: possibly third quarter 20th century

Length of tray: 16 inches
