Additional Notes & Condition Report

Jean-Francois Hache (1730-1796), Grenoble, maitre in 1754, of the well known Hache family of cabinet makers, which included his grandfather, Thomas (1664-1747) and father, Pierre (1703-1776). He used the stamp of his father and added another stamp, "FILS" for his own output of furniture. However, this stamp appears to be spurious.

Previous restorations, with sunfading to top, perishing to varnish and fading to marquetry, the interior in good condition, old marks and scratches, scuffs to legs and frieze
