each lamp base appears to be in generally good condition; no significant defects noted such as hairline cracks, shallow flake losses, etc.; barely discernible horizontal seam lines from the molding process are visible at the center of each sphere, in the making, not of any consequence; one glass sphere has an embedded particle inclusion at the surface, in the making, not of any consequence; another glass sphere has a very small barely discernible impact/fracture mark at its surface, not of great consequence; no manufacturer's mark; shades are in generally good condition; there is some light soiling to the tops of the shades; there is uniform yellow-colored burn marks to the interior side of the shades, presumably due to the light bulb; one interior side of the shade is drier than the other shade and has a few crack marks; lamps not tested to see if they are in working condition, however, it is presumed they are
