each plate appears to be in generally good condition, i.e., no apparent rim chips, hairline cracks, chips to the underside, etc.: each plate has small areas with losses to the gilding to their inner gilt bands; the raised dot gilding that appear on the wide borders appear to be in good condition; the colorful floral bouquets appear to be hand-painted rather than transfer printed; each plain white center appears to be in generally good condition; i.e., pretty free of knife scratch marks; each plate has two back stamps, including a crown symbol above SAXE; not blacklighted
