each body and each cover appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there are some scattered flake losses to painted surfaces, most notably to the upper rim edges of each body and the bottom rim edges of each cover and also to the tip of the finial on one of the covers; there are other areas with scattered paint losses and rubbing; each interior appears to be nice and clean; the bodies are not drilled; there are variations to the decoration of the covers as well as some variations to the decoration on each body; there is evidence of red overpaint to some areas, most notably to the underside of the rims of the covers and the interior and exterior upper rims of each body; not blacklighted; age: appears to be modern
