each appears to be in generally good, used condition; no apparent rim chips; one plate has a discolored hairline mark at its rim that is visible only from the underside; each plate does have scratch marks to its center; some general wear and rubbing to the gilt decoration, primarily to the large blossom motifs closest to the white centers; not blacklighted
