Additional Notes & Condition Report

Larger Bowl: there are approximately three hairline cracks to the body; there are some scattered small dark colored inclusions to the body on the interior side of the bowl as well as a few burst glaze air bubbles, in the making; gilding along the top rim edge has been worn away and has been subsequently gold overpainted; the calligraphic inscription at the center of the bowl is quite worn and faded; not blacklighted

Smaller Bowl: appears to have been previously broken into two complete halves and then glued back together; there is currently some sharpness and roughness to these break/join lines and rim edges (apparently not professionally repaired); the calligraphic inscription at the center of the bowl is quite worn and faded; not blacklighted; height 2 3/4 inches, diameter 5 5/8 inches
