Publisher's cloth backed armorial patterned paper covered boards with printed spine label, in original dust jacket designed by Charles Ricketts. 15 1/2 x 11 inches (40 x 28 cm); 16 tipped-in plates. Some spotting to endpapers and a few minor creases to plates, generally clean within, the cloth tips worn and with light edgewear, the jacket worn with losses including a long tear into the upper panel and a loss at upper left affecting border but not text or image, other losses, the spine and rear panel soiled and with losses.
A rare example of the large format dust jacket by Ricketts.
