London: C. Kegan Paul & Co., 1879. First edition. Publisher's blue-green cloth with design in gilt, housed in a leather-backed slipcase and chemise. 7 3/8 x 4 7/8 inches (18.5 x 12.5 cm); xii, 227, [1] pp., frontispiece by Walter Crane. Light rubbing, including some sporadic and superficial wear to the upper joint, but in all a very nice example indeed of a book typically found in rather worn condition. Dark adhesive marks from bookplate removal on the front endpapers.
