[PHOTOGRAPHY] Large group of cabinet cards and carte-de-visite portraits.
Approximately 100 examples, includes CDVs and cabinet cards of mostly English and European historical figures, royalty, theater and opera, some American figures including Civil War, authors, photographs after paintings, etc. Some held in disbound albums, the balance loose. Largest 6 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches. Some with remnants of mounting, the albums worn, most fine.
Includes: Edwin Booth (3, one as Iago), Lilly Langtry (2); Archduke Ferdinand; Ethel Barrymore, Garibaldi, Mozart, Winfield Scott, George McPherson, First Lady Frances Cleveland, Longfellow, Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, and many English royals, etc.
