ROCKEFELLER, JOHN D. Signed photograph.
A full length portrait of Rockefeller in formal dress holding a book, circa 1928, signed vertically "John D. Rockefeller" possibly in pencil, 9 3/4 x 8 inches (25 x 20 cm), with the backstamp of "Fotograms/New Photo Service" and the stamped date of 26 February 1928. Creased corners and other handling wear, indentation and spot to upper center extremity from a paperclip with a rust stain on the verso, remnants of a paper label to verso, also with a few pencilled notes of provenance reporting the photograph a gift of a Mrs. Margaret Bruce in 1969.
An uncommon signed photograph of Rockefeller late in his life.
