Hyde Park, New York City and elsewhere: Mostly late 1930s. Approximately 17 autograph, typed, or signed letters on various stationery from Roosevelt to Mrs. Helen Hitchcock, many retaining envelopes. Folds, generally fine.
A large group of cordial correspondence from FDR's mother to Mrs. Hitchcock, wife of the editor Ripley Hitchcock, and founder of the Art Worker's Club for Women and also the Woman's Roosevelt Memorial Foundation which preserved the birthplace of Theodore Roosevelt.
