London: Haddon, 1891. First edition. Publisher's gilt decorated cloth. Oblong folio, 10 3/4 x 14 inches; with 12 lithographed plates after J.C. Dollman. Lightly toned within but generally fine and clean, the hinges strengthened, the binding rubbed at places and with a few stains.
Brown was the author of several works on Indian sport including his Shikar Sketches. This title appears rare, with Rare Book Hub listing no copy since 1971. The book features interesting large plates of the meet and hunt for wild boar.
