[VERNACULAR PHOTOGRAPHY--POSTCARDS] Group of twelve "Exaggerations".
Group of 12 gelatin silver printed picture postcards, circa 1910 and later, each with amusing scenes and many with texts or publisher's imprints in the negative, each about 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches (89 x 133 mm), framed separately. Apparently fine with little visible creasing or signs of handling, each with a photocopy to frame verso showing the verso of each postcard indicating most accomplished and sent with various stamps and cancels, none examined out of frame.
These amusing advertising picture postcards feature men with oversized insects, animals, fruit, such as a bunny racing a bus with the caption "You can't outrun this Greyhound Mister." Also present is a fishing scene by Kansas Photographer William H. Martin.
