Early half cloth. 9 1/4 x 6 inches (23.5 x 15 cm); xx, 674, [2] pp.; [ii], 52 pp.; illustrations throughout, including Marey's redrawing of Mimard's map of the War of 1812, likely the most distinguished diagram in the history of statistics. Cloth cracking on front joint, stamps removed from title resulting in round stains.
