ALLEN, HAROLD, CALLAHAN, HARRY and others Group of three publications of student and faculty work.
Comprises Project 1. Chicago: Department of Photography, Columbia College, 1971, with a signed vintage copy of Harold Allen's gelatin silver print La Salle Subway Station, Chicago, 1969 and fourteen other mounted gelatin silver prints, mostly student work; and two volumes of Student Independent, numbers 2 and 7. Chicago: Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, 1960s. Some wear.
Allen, one of the deans of American architectural photography provided an exceptional image to the first work. The second work, though mostly offset, has a fine Callahan gelatin silver print: Eleanor, Chicago, 1952, taken (we believe) in Grant Park, Chicago.
