Etching and drypoint, 1638, on laid paper, with good margins, possibly a later 17th century impression, the subject printing very fine though with only remnants the signature and with the date partially present, unframed.

Sheet 4 15/16 x 4 inches; 125 x 102 mm.

Private collection, acquired circa 1900; descended through the family to the present owner.

Pale lightstain, some tiny spots of discoloration, a faint diagonal crease (or very skillfully restored tear) extending into the image bottom left sheet edge (only faintly discernible in the image under close examination), some old glue residue at left sheet edge verso.
