Etching, circa 1515, on laid paper with no visible watermark, trimmed to or just within the platemark, a very fine Meder a/b impression before the rust marks, unframed.

Private collection, acquired circa 1900; descended through the family to the present owner.

A faint horizontal crease through the middle of the sheet (only visible verso), the sheet edges with some wear/lightly abraded areas, some unobtrusive creasing at bottom sheet corners, a small stain at bottom right edge, some foxing and other discoloration verso, some old paper tape along left sheet edge verso, a small piece of linen tape affixed near right sheet edge verso.
