Fabergé Silver and Guilloché Enamel Photograph Frame
Workmaster Anders (Antti) Nevalainen, St. Petersburg, 1899-1904, scratched inventory number 7178
Circular, enameled in translucent dark orange over an engine-turned ground, centering a circular aperture with a beaded border, surmounted by a tied ribbon and above tied berried laurel branches, all within a foliate-cast border, with faux ivory back and scroll strut. Diameter 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm.).

A La Vieille Russie, New York.
Acquired from the above by Millicent Rogers (1902-1953) in the 1940s.
By descent; sold Christie's, New York, April 15, 2013, lot 62.
The granddaughter of the Standard Oil tycoon Henry Huttleston Rogers, Mary Millicent Abigail Rogers was a socialite, fashion icon and art collector.
