Russian Silver-Gilt and Cloisonné Enamel Cigarette Case
Ovchinnikov, Moscow, circa 1880
Rectangular, enameled throughout with varicolored flowers, foliate scrolls and geometric motifs on a gilt-stippled ground, with green pellet borders, each side centering an oval reserve enameled with varicolored flowers and foliage on a turquoise ground with filigree scrollwork, with silver push-piece. Length 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm.).
