Italian Maiolica Wet Drug Jar
17th/18th Century
Of globular form and decorated in blue and white with scrolls and flowerheads, a polychrome portrait of a man wearing a wreath at the base of the strap handle. Height 8 3/4 inches (22.2 cm). Together with an English Delft Apothecary Jar decorated with birds, swags, flowers, tassels, a mask and 'E:MITHRIDA' within a cartouche. Height 7 inches (17.8 cm).
