Painted with a central medallion of John the Baptist within scrolling foliage and grotesques. Diameter 15 3/4 inches (40 cm).
A related Dutch dish, late 16th/early 17th century, with very similar decoration was formerly in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
