With alphabets and numerals above a verse, willow tree, flower baskets and birds, the lower register with numerous figures of women and girls along a flowering tree, birds and a school/academy. Height 17 1/2 inches, width 12 inches; Together with a Needlework Sampler. Inscribed Wrought by Anna E Tinkham, aged 8 years, Under the tuition of E. A. Hanks, 1829. With alphabets and numerals above a verse, willow tree, flower basket, animals and birds, the lower register with numerous figures of women and girls along a flowering tree, birds and a school/academy. Height 16 7/8 inches, width 11 inches.
