New London or Stonington, Connecticut, third quarter 18th century
The molded cornice above five long drawers between spiral carved corner columns, the lower section with a long drawer over three drawers, the shaped apron centering a lobster tail motif, all raised on angular cabriole legs. Height 6 feet 3/4 inch, width 42 inches, depth 20 inches.
