Kindel for Winterthur Chippendale Philadelphia Style High Chest
Marked Kindel Winterthur Reproduction Plaque no. 40. Height 7 feet 10 inches, width 45 inches, depth 24 inches.
This form is based on the Van Pelt high chest, made in Philadelphia between 1765 and 1780. It was purchased by Henry Francis DuPont in 1929 for a then record smashing $44,000.
