English Porcelain 'Goat and Bee' Small Jug
Late 19th Century, unmarked, attributed to Coalport
Derived from the Chelsea model, with opposing recumbent goats at the base, beneath the curved spout, a large bee rests on flowering stems, the applied handle naturalistically modeled as an oak branch with leafy terminals.
Height 4 3/4 inches.
