[FARROW, MIA] PARSONS, LOUELLA. Two typed letters signed from Farrow's godmother.
The first letter is dated 16 January circa 1945 and is from Louella Parsons to Mia Farrow's mother and father, Maureen O'Sullivan and John Farrow, regarding her being "thrilled" to be "Little Maria's Godmother. I have always felt that I was any-way, because I stood up with her when she was baptized." The second letter is from Parsons to Mia [Farrow] dated 14 October 1963 on one sheet of Hearst Headline Service stationery, this the larger letter at 11 by 8 1/2 inches: "I hope you were mis-quoted in this article which appeared in the Rome Daily American. Monsignor English and I were very upset over some of the quotes. After all, I am your godmother, and I'm sure you have some explanation for all this." Both letters with folds and some handling creases, the signature on the second letter with a pen trial. These letters offered in the Collection of Mia Farrow, Julien's Auctions, 26 June 2010, lot 1315.
