STOLZ, ROBERT Archive of correspondence with his U.S. agent Dailey Paskman
New York: circa 1943-72. Approximately fifty items signed by Stolz or his wife Einzi, being mostly typed letters signed on paper or onion-skin, a few manuscript, and other material including copies of letters, notes, telegrams, clippings, etc. Signs of handling, some wear to edges.
A large and interesting correspondence chronicling the later career of the Austrian composer and conductor Robert Stoltz with his U.S. agent, the notable agent, lyricist and radio broadcaster Dailey Paskman. Topics include Hollywood film scores composed by Stoltz, opera matters, various payments and royalties, contracts, etc. Acquired from Schubertiade Music in 2013.
